cre8ive art
I take risks is my studio habits of mind. First I stepped out of my comfort zone to create a dog because I usually draw planes. I created it by drawing the outline based on my dog . Next Amber was working on her art work and accidently got the blue spray paint on my work. Then I took a risk and decided to make it look like a dog in the rain. After that I made the fur that look wet. Finally I took a risk to try using a new art material and then I added more blue spray paint to make rain. I learned how to change that mishap into something good. I challenged myself by turning the blue paint into rain which was my first time using that material. I choose line as my art element. I stroked repetitive elegantly curving lines for the whispy fur along the dog’s back.

I focused on communicate through my work, I take risks, develop skills, solve problems, and I created my original art. I created an a380-800 in the generic livery. To create it, first I started drawing the outline of the aircraft from prior knowledge. Then found an image on Google to base it off. After that I continued with little details like the windows and doors and tried to make sure everything was to scale and looked like they were the right proportions. Last I asked for other pupil’s opinions but they did not care so I chose Black. I learned how to make my own stencil for the windows even though you made it. How I challenged myself was trying to do better than I did on my other ones and improve on them. I did not take a photo of my work so I will show you next class. To make the wing and the areas underneath it I marked precise lines then I stroked elegant short curved lines and then I smudged them to make a darker area from the shade.
I can connect Vincent Van Gogh because I like to look outside at night. In Starry Night he uses blue to add contrast. He also uses alot of diffrent shades of color.
